Surface Finishing Services

The finish is what your customer touches first, and it decides whether the part survives the environment it ships into. We coordinate coating, painting, anodizing and plating against a written specification.

Why Finish Specification Matters

A finish spec that names a process but not a thickness is the most common cause of rejected shipments. Powder coating at 40 µm and at 120 µm are different products with different salt spray performance.
We ask for four things before production: the process and standard, the target thickness range, the salt spray requirement in hours, and which surfaces must stay uncoated — threads, grounding points and sealing faces.
Where the spec is vague we push back before the run, not after. That conversation is cheaper than a rejected container.

Die Casting Production Process

Four stages, each with a check you can audit.

01

Specification Review

We confirm process, thickness, colour reference and test standard before any parts are processed.

02

Pre-treatment

Degreasing, then conversion coating or blasting depending on the substrate and the finish that follows.

03

Finish Application

Powder coating, liquid paint, anodizing or electroplating, applied to the agreed thickness range.

04

Cure & Test

Curing to the process schedule, then adhesion, thickness and salt spray checks on samples.

One-Stop Die Casting Solution

Five capabilities under one production plan. Most projects use three or four of them.
Validate fit and function before tooling is cut.
In-house mold design and build, 1–4 cavities.
HPDC from 160T to 1,250T for structural parts.
Tapped holes, sealing faces, ±0.02 mm.
Coating, painting, anodizing, plating.

Why Choose SUNGREAT

What separates a casting supplier from a manufacturing partner is what happens before the mould is cut and after the parts are packed.

Seven processes in one chain

Powder, liquid paint, anodizing, plating, blasting, e-coating and passivation.

Salt spray up to 500 h

Verified on samples before the batch ships, not claimed on a datasheet.

Masking done properly

Threads and grounding points masked before coating, not scraped after.

Colour matching

Checked against your master sample under defined lighting.

Applications

Where this capability is usually specified.

Outdoor enclosures and luminaires

Automotive under-hood parts

Decorative plated hardware

Marine and high-humidity service

Wear-resistant contact surfaces

Electronics housings with EMI requirements

Frequently Asked Questions

The questions buyers actually ask at quoting stage.

Powder coating over a conversion coating is the default. For marine exposure, combine it with A360 alloy and a thicker film.

Up to 500 hours on the right system. Tell us the requirement and we will specify the coating stack to meet it.

Yes, for powder and liquid paint. Send the reference and we will confirm before production.

Yes, subject to a sample review to confirm the substrate is suitable.
